A former activity instructor and National Trust for Scotland guide travelling with my husband Hugues.
We are a trustworthy and reliable couple, independent travellers and would arrive by car.
We currently travel full time so it is a treat for us to have pets and a home to care for; to balance our life. We are non-smokers travelling without children or pets.
I (Julie) have experience as a rural home owner and have owned dogs (and cats too) during the past 30 years. This has included two working collies, a rescued staffie cross breed and a husky from a pup to the wonderful age of 13.
I have experience of daily caring for cats and dogs, giving exercise and attention.
From my experience as a pet owner I understand that it is important to take time to understand the needs and preferences of each individual animal. Observing them well for clues as to their comfort and wellbeing.

Julie et Hugues ont été très attentifs et maîtrisaient parfaitement la gestion de notre maison et nos animaux. Julie s’occupait même de notre potager ce qui n’était pas obligatoire. On passait deux jours ensemble avant de partir en vacances et c’était très agréable. C’était comme si l’on logeait des amis de longue date chez nous. Ils nous ont emmené à la gare et cherché en rentrant pour que la voiture puisse rester dans son garage et ont régulièrement donné des nouvelles de nos animaux. Nous serions heureux de les revoir et de les accueillir à nouveau chez nous! Un grand merci à Julie et Hugues!
