We are a young couple (18 years old), however do not let this turn you off our experience, as international students graduated from Muscat,Oman, and growing up in places like Japan, Azerbaijan, (as well as others) our joint experiences with animals in various animal shelters, scuba diving trips, Veterinary volunteering and Marine biological volunteering, allows us to understand various harsh truths and understand the hard work and dedication which comes alongside taking care of a furry companion.
Both of us have up-kept 3 jobs each in our current living location, working in hospitality. This has given us experience in cleaning up after ourselves in both large and small spaces respectively, maintaining a liveable, tidy space and leaving respectfully as we found it.
We have our own rescue companions, Indi has an old street cat as well as tripod rescue dog and a Arabian Thoroughbred mix horse. Hattie has maintained a 'weird cat lady' persona, taking care of all the street cats who are injured and sick whilst also being attached to 5 (3 of them house cats). Over the years we have fostered dogs, taken care of hamsters, fish, as our own pets.
We are currently on a joint gap year, looking for fun and new places to travel, with a similar familiarity we have with furry friends and other critters, keeping us busy and also allowing us to help others, and explore other countries and cities with a little companion(s).
