En couple/duo
We are a British couple (Senior Editor and Head of Engineering for a UK FinTech company) currently based in the UK but also with German citizenship.
We spent 2014-2024 living in Europe (Berlin, Palermo, Naples) and travelling around extensively, and are very keen to get back there after a two-year break in England.
Because we both work fully remotely from home, we're very flexible and can provide a consistent, reassuring presence. Your pets won't feel lonely or unsettled and their daily routines will be kept perfectly on track.
As homeowners ourselves, we understand the trust it takes to hand over your keys. We are exceptionally neat and tidy, respectful, great with house maintenance (from watering plants and gardening to housework) and completely self-sufficient.
We have extensive experience of caring for cats, both our own and other people's. We have cared for a very broad range of felines from pedigree kittens, to elderly and wonky cats, rescued sick and injured stray cats (to take them to the vet for emergency care) and very young abandoned kittens. We have provided live-in care for numerous cats, and even a few dogs.
We regularly fed and monitored a colony of 24 stray cats when living in Palermo and we still buy food for them on a monthly basis and contribute to vet bills whenever necessary.

Ondine und Rich haben sich sehr liebevoll um Hilde gekümmert. Sie haben mir regelmäßig Nachrichten und Fotos geschickt. Man hat gemerkt, dass sie Erfahrung mit älteren Katzen haben. Auch die Medikamentengabe hat supergut geklappt. Ich kann die beiden wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank!
