We have a cute old lady Terrier/ Chihuaha who is 14, who sleeps a lot and is very very mellow. She likes a small walk in the morning and afternoon, but mostly goes into the fenced backyard to do her business. She takes medications with food in the. morning and night. She likes to be on the couch with you snuggling but mostly sleeps. The cat, Whiskers, is 4 years old and very independent. She goes inside and outside; during the summer she is out most of the time; in the winter or if it's cold she is inside sleeping. She has a feeder and waterer and needs her litter box cleaned once a day. She's pretty low maintenance; she enjoys if you play with her but does not require it. Stella can be home by herself during the day, for up to 9 hours or so, if you are out and about.

Big, beautiful villa at the edge of Berg, with a big fenced yard and access to hiking trails behind the house. Starnberger See is a 10 minute walk from the house, and there are hiking and bike trails all around. The bus stop is about a 5 minute walk from the house and you can connect to the S6 station in Starnberg by taking the 961 or 975 busses to the Bahnstation. Driving is about 30 minutes into Munich. You can walk to bakery, Rewe grocery store, petrol station and several restaurants in the area. The house is peaceful and quiet and a haven for nature lovers.

1 hour from Garmisch Partinkirchen, 30 minutes into the heart of Munich, charming and beautiful area. Lake Starnberg is a 10 minute walk from our house. The Austrian and German Alps are also about an hour drive.

Stella and Whiskers are pleasant and entertaining companions. There are no difficulties to follow their little daily routines. Stella is a sweet little Angel, very obedient, always in the good mood and stays close. Despite her age and the hot weather she was remarkably willing to go out for our walks and her bad hearing didn’t influence our communication at all. It seems that she can read the lips and she intuitively knows before I even thought to start with some action. Whiskers is very funny little cat girl, looks like a little kitten and behaves like a little kitten, irresistibly cheerful, loves attention and plays. The both furry darlings are very cuddly and sweet and incredibly good at keeping company on the sofa. The instructions for the care of animals are clear and precise. The good home book is full with all little details about care of animals and house, but foremost the marvellous written part about what to do and visit in the area. The neighbours are friendly and helpful. There are plenty of different trails for the walks directly from the house. The house is spacious, full of light and despite the hot weather was easy to keep cool. There were ventilators in many rooms, so I appreciated very much the thoughtfulness of the hosts, even if I didn’t need to use the vents. Stella and Whiskers are fortunate to have so loving and caring family and I was happy to meet them all. I have appreciated very much the whole organisation and easiness in the communication. We really enjoyed our stay with Whiskers in Berg! The house is very comfortable, in a quiet location next to a forest and a lake, with many options for walks close by. Whiskers, the cat, was great and easy to care for - she liked to spend time outside when it was warm, but she also enjoyed hanging out/playing with us while we were working or reading. We haven't met Michele or the family in person, but they left us a detailed guide about Whiskers, the house and the area, and they were very responsive on WhatsApp both before and during the sit. Overall we feel grateful to have this opportunity and can really recommend this sit for anyone who gets the chance. Thank you again :)
