We have two Pomeranians and a Swiss Shepherd. Our Swiss Shepard needs a walk in the morning and evening. Our toy poms are easy and love to walk as well, but not necessary as they are so tiny they can hardly keep up with our large dog. We also have several plants that would need watering once a week.

We have bought our plane tickets, so these dates are pretty much set. However, we would love for our house sitters to come a day early to be introduced to our home and our pets and any questions they may have.

A quiet home in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town. Our Neighborhood is safe and lovely for walking, and is close to the beautiful wine route and vineyards. We are a quick 30 minutes from the heart of Cape Town, beaches and ten minutes from local shopping malls. We live on the top of a hill and we have views of the surrounding mountain ranges as well as the city from our rooftop patio. We have two bedrooms and guest bathroom that will be accessible to our housesitters. You will have full access to the main front part of the house, which includes kitchen, dining room, living area (open plan), braai room and back patio/ upstairs roof patio. Garage holds our laundry area as well. We also have a mountain bike that can be utilized as well as a full internet bundle on the tv that includes Apple TV, and other apps for movies. We also have lots of great dvd's that can be watched if needed. It's a very quiet and lovely family neighborhood. We all look out for one another. It's a very quiet and lovely family neighborhood. We all look out for one another. It's very close to a lovely shopping village that can be walked to, or a shopping mall with doctors, vets, and hospital is only five minutes drive down the road. The highway entrance is also close so that within 20-30 minutes you can be to the beach or a wine farm. Our home has just been renovated with a large open kitchen which is lovely to cook in, as well as an indoor break (barbecue area) and pizza oven that can be utilized as well for gatherings. We also have a jacuzzi on the back garden area and a fairly large back garden/yard for the dogs to play.

Tourisme et loisirs

There are lots of things to do in Cape Town, as the city centre is only 30 minutes drive away. Lots of hiking trails that you can drive to, as well as surrounding mountains that you can hike on and walk. Beaches are also only 30 minutes away and are lovely on a summers day. Local attractions are numerous, as you can visit botanical gardens, go on a wine tour, plenty of lovely restaurants that feature local fare and lots of local artisan markets to explore!

First of all, Kristina and Jim are super friendly. They gave me a very warm welcome and took the time to explain me what to do and showed me the area. The dogs needed some days to get used to the new situation, but after a bit, we were all good! Bentley liked his walks very much, especially when we went to the beach or wine estates! Last but not least, the house is also very nice, well looked after and at a perfect location in between The City and Stellenbosch. Highly Recommended! Thankyou again Kristina an Jim!
