We have an affectionate 9-year- old toy poodle (4 kgs).
She loves going for walks, but can get by with playing in the garden.
She eats in the evening and sleeps in our room.

Our fish gets fed once in the evening.

Please water the yards as per the weather and enjoy any fruit or veg that ripen in our experimental vegetable garden.

Please collect the mail on a daily basis.

Minutes away from the heart of Paris, our house allows you to enjoy the city by day and relax in our comfortable house and calm garden with our adorable little dog, Poppet.

Close to public transportation (less than 10 minutes by foot to Métro lines 4 and 13, plus buses and Vélib).

Enjoy a barbecue on our patio under our shady tree after exploring the city.

We have Wifi and Netflix, A/C, and shops within walking distance.

There is a master bedroom and a guest room with a comfortable sofa bed. There is also a bedroom with bunk beds and a third roll-out bed for sitters with children.

There is both a bathroom and a shower room.

Smoking is not allowed inside, but there are balconies in both the master bedroom and the guestroom.

In addition to looking after our dog, we also have a goldfish that needs to be fed, and we ask that you water our front and back yard as often as necessary depending on the weather.

Muriel and François-Xavier and their two lovely daughters, welcomed me into their home and family and I felt at home immediately. Poppet the poodle is adorable and really enjoys daily walks and new experiences, responding well to some new vocal commands. The house is cool and also has air conditioning in the rooms which I really appreciated as Paris was experiencing a heatwave while I was there. Montrouge neighbourhood is interesting and attractive and with two Metro lines and a reliable bus service, access to Paris is easy. While the family was away we kept in touch via Whatsapp and this worked well. When the family returned, I was invited to stay for my final three nights and I enjoyed the time we had together with great meals, a bbq with the neighbours and a relaxed weekend. Muriel kindly drove me to the CDG airport for my long journey back to Australia - thank you very much! I now count this lovely family as friends and recommend them to future house sitters.
