Besoin et animaux

Hi there! We have 2 male black and tan dachsunds, Max and Otto. They are brothers and we have had them since they were puppies. We expect a housesitter to primarily take care for our dogs while we are away. We have a clean, comfortable and spacious home with the normal amenities.
Max and Otto are friendly but like all dachsunds, they can be vocal. They are loving dogs, always ready to go on walks in the neighborhood or along the canal/parks near our home, but they also love to cuddle up with you on the sofa. They do not have any special needs except to be doted on in our absence. We expect that they get fed 2x a day, fresh water EVERYDAY and let out for 2 long walks a day for exercise and relieving themselves. We have a small courtyard on our property where you can sit but that they can also take a short pee break if needed early morning or late in the evening.
As for the apartment, it is easy to maintain and we just ask that a housesitter keep it clean and be respectful of our things.

Located on the edge of business district "De Hurk" in Eindhoven, we live in one of the first streets which is near residential homes. Although we are in a building above a business, we have neighbors left, right and behind our property that also live on site. So even though it is in a business district, you don't get the feeling that you are isolated. Our area is quiet, especially at night and in the weekends. During the day, you may notice a few trucks riding along the road but it is minimal. The building is south facing so is light and comfortable.
The atmosphere in our home is cozy and relaxed. Nice but not stuffy. At least that is what we think :).

Eindhoven was named as the "Smartest City" in the world for the third year running. The city is a wonderful combination of high tech and creative resources being the home to high tech greats such as Philips, FEI, ASML, the Brainport but also the Dutch Design Academy and Dutch Design Week. Located in the south of the Netherlands, you are just a little more than a hour to Amsterdam, Antwerp, Brussels or Dusseldorf by car. Public transport is also reliable, clean and not terribly expensive if used with travel passes. Biking paths throughout the Netherlands are admired as the best in the world. So getting around is not a problem. Want to do some day trips during your stay, consider some of these. There are lots more things to do depending on your interests. We are inland so we are not near the ocean but there are some rivers and lakes nearby.
