Hello! My name is Hyeonjeong. I’m a Ph.D. student studying Computer Science based in Seattle, and I’ll be traveling to New York during the holidays to visit friends and explore the city on my own.
I don’t currently have pets at home, but I’ve cat-sat several times for friends as well as for my cat niblings, Bodhi and Sati, who belong to my sister and brother-in-law in Palo Alto. (They are absolutely adorable, so feel free to ask for photos! I won't stop talking about them).
I genuinely enjoy taking care of cats with lots of love and playtime, introducing myself gently to new cats, and building rapport at their pace. If I ever need an extra tip, my sister is only a phone call away and always happy to share her expertise.
This is my first time using a pet sitting platform, and I view it as a trust-based partnership. I want hosts to feel assured their home and pets are in good hands, and as a solo female traveler, I hope to feel that same trust and safety from the host I connect with.

Hyeonjeong is the most thoughtful sitter anyone can ask for! She sent prompt daily updates on the cats and the plants and left the home impeccable. she was prompt in responding and a very clear communicator throughout her stay. She is welcome back anytime in our home!!
