Hyeonjeong Byeon

Hello! My name is Hyeonjeong. I’m a Ph.D. student studying Computer Science based in Seattle, and I’ll be traveling to New York during the holidays to visit friends and explore the city on my own.

I don’t currently have pets at home, but I’ve cat-sat several times for friends as well as for my cat niblings, Bodhi and Sati, who belong to my sister and brother-in-law in Palo Alto. (They are absolutely adorable, so feel free to ask for photos! I won't stop talking about them).
I genuinely enjoy taking care of cats with lots of love and playtime, introducing myself gently to new cats, and building rapport at their pace. If I ever need an extra tip, my sister is only a phone call away and always happy to share her expertise.

This is my first time using a pet sitting platform, and I view it as a trust-based partnership. I want hosts to feel assured their home and pets are in good hands, and as a solo female traveler, I hope to feel that same trust and safety from the host I connect with.
