We would wholeheartedly recommend Rick and Sandy as dependable, experienced and professional house- and petsitters. They went above and beyond in taking care of our house and our many rescue pets, even doing some small overdue maintenance on the car and house. The house was left perfectly clean and tidy. A warm and friendly couple, they obviously love animals. The pets bonded very well with them and missed them when they were gone! Contact before, during and even after the sit was prompt and pleasant. During our trip they kept us up to date about the home front, even sending regular pictures. It would be our pleasure to welcome them back as sitters anytime in the future!

It was a true pleasure to have Rick and Sandy watch our home and care for our pets. Right from the start, they were communicative and reliable, and made us feel at ease given their experience with pets. Our dog Moerje is very shy, but they were patient and accepted her for who she is. From the pictures they sent while we were away, it seemed clear that she was warming up to them, and when we got back she was completely calm and fell easily back into our usual routine. Moreover, Rick and Sandy were up for a new challenge and cared for our bunnies. Despite not having cared for bunnies previously, they did wonderfully, even managing the extra task of delivering some medication to one of the bunnies for the entirety of their stay. As for our home itself, it was in as good a condition as when we left it—everything was clean and tidy, down to a recent vacuuming. It was also very considerate of Rick and Sandy to monitor our flight status, and to be ready to come back in case anything went awry. We can wholeheartedly recommend Rick and Sandy for any other Nomadorians looking for someone to care for their pets and/or home.

Sandy and her husband Rick were the perfect expat petsitting professionals to manage my feisty cat and care for my expat resort condo in Manama, Bahrain for a three week stay. They were attentive to the care & feeding requirements for the cat, kept me up to date on his shenanigans with texts and photos (not too frequently, just enough!). I connected them to my expat social circle before I left and got nothing but glowing reports about them from my friends upon my return. My flat was immaculate when I got home - litter box freshly changed, bed linens washed and the cat was happy and healthy. My only gripe is that Boris ignored me after I walked in the door and looked past me, obviously disappointed that it was just me and not his new playmates. :) Sandy and Rick, thanks for the special care you took in tending to Boris. I do hope you enjoyed your stay, because I’d love to have you back again anytime! Cheers!

It was a pleasure having Sandy and Rick stay at our house and so much better for the dogs than a kennel. They were very considerate guests - the house was spotless and they replaced everything they used. They kept us informed of how it was going and they walked the dogs every day (not even we do that!) We have no hesitation in recommending them.
