I had an amazing stay at Manu's cosy apartment, with cuddly Kheops. Manu is really nice and available for any question. Her place offers an amazing view and is very cosy with a lot of candles and books ! Fribourg is a beautiful historical city, close from wonderful places (Lac Noir Schwarsee, Morat/Murten, Gruyère). Kheops is really sweet and intelligent. I enjoyed a lot his company. Thanks you really much Manu :)

We had a very nice experience at Manu's house. Her house is located in the city center and has a terrace with a view of the river. Freiburg is a very nice city, with many bars and nice paths to walk in nature. Manu is a nice person and very flexible. Kheops is a very sweet and loving cat, and a super companion. He really enjoys going out to the terrace, and also coming say hi to you in bed in the morning. It was a pleasure taking care of him! And we were very sorry to say goodbye. We wish them all the best!

Mon séjour chez Manuela s'est super bien passé. Elle m'a accueillie comme il se doit, fait sentir comme à la maison... N'oublions pas le superbe chat de l'appartement, Kheops, super attachant et câlin. Une belle expérience !

I do believe Manu has become my angel. I never met such a warm, independent, careful, down to earth, intelligent and educated woman. Speaking so many languages. She was so helpful not only inviting me there, hosting me there, but also saving my way back to Milano in emergency situation, that I think I will not pay my debt soon. Being herself in difficult situation (stay in a country during military conflict mostly offline) she has never forgotten to keep me up to date. Would really love to host her in my own home and for a long time with no reason in any case. I came to a perfect studio, where everything, literally, was so similar to home I left in country. Incredibly clean (if you are messy, you won't match here), in beautiful old building but very warm, limited with a space but still well decorated and very functional place! First you think that you would need something and then you just find it. You will see there more books than you can read. Imagine all of these features in the center of beautiful cozy Swiss town, with amasing view from the balcony. Not yet. Even though it seems enough for three reviews already... Why did I come there? Because of the cat. The is another chapter of this novel. It is very special guy. Emotionally intelligent, smart, gentle, not absorbing you much, but still needy to show you his appreciation that you are beside. Coming just to pet you with his arm (he does it). At least it was what has happened to me. But being really doggy person, I had totally no experience and understanding of this "culture". So, it was kind of a challenge to communicate at the start, but after a week we became close friends. I do miss this creature and I count him now as a part of my animal family. At the end of my stay I realised I love cats which I never experienced having some prejudices and fun with dogs. He was patient to explain his life to me :-) Sometimes he was becoming the bomb of energy, so I could keep fit just by following him on his tracks to catch him. And laugh to cry ;-) so much fun. I will be back there, no doubts. Sitting there is not an experience but a state of mind. If you never met special people or animals on your way, you will get a chance to see both. Love you!
