Als Familie
We are a small international family of three based in Berlin, Germany: one Scottish (artist / teacher), a Québécoise (communications / editor / translator) and a young child that is a cute mix of both... and the Berlin culture. We like travelling, reading, going on bike rides, taking in culture - arts and music - and enjoy being outdoors having fun with our child.
We are looking to travel with our son and are very excited about all the possibilities that home-sitting and the Nomador website network provides.
As well as looking after various pets and homes through Nomador and the Trusted-Housitters platforms, we have been active members of the Home Exchange network since 2016 (completing 25 exchanges in 9 years - see our profile page at the link below) and have a lot of experience of looking after the homes, gardens and pets of nice people kind and trusting enough to let us stay in their homes. We have unfortunately not been able to have pets of our own recently due to our situation of travelling and working, but we all love animals, have had pets at different stages in our lives and always appreciate any opportunity to feed and take care of any kinds of pets and other animals. Our son in particular always relishes any chance he gets to spend time with animals. He is very respectful, gentle, responsible and always forms a close bond with them.
We are looking for places in Europe (especially in France) that are (preferably) not too far from the sea, but are open to other offers too. We're also keen on any home-sitting that takes us back to our home cities of Montreal, Canada and Edinburgh, Scotland.

Une première expérience et j'en suis ravi. Dominic, Karine et Antoine sont des hôtes très agréables, très gentils et respectueux de la maison que l'on leur laisse sans oublier le principal, un toutou bien accompagné pendant notre absence. La communication avant / pendant et même après leur départ à toujours été top. Je vous les recommandes les yeux fermés, vous ne regrettez pas 👌

Dominic and his family are nice people, very charming. They accepted some of our last minutes’ changes. We even had chances to know each other (and cook for each other). Some nice talk as well. They keep house very clean. They are respectful people. I do recommend them. It was great to meet them.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié Dominic, Karine et leur fiston Antoine. Ils ont su prendre soin de nos animaux et de notre maison. Ils n’ont pas hésité à communiquer avec nous s’ils avaient un doute sur le fonctionnement de la maison où les règles avec les animaux. Nous les recommandons chaleureusement et leur souhaitons bonne continuation. Notre rencontre et nos échanges ont été très agréables.
