Anne is a lovely person and we really enjoyed staying in her unique home. We met Anne a couple of times before the sit started, as we both wanted to get to know each other and fully understand what was required, caring for donkeys was not something we had done before. Anne spent a lot of time with us making sure we were happy with how everything worked. She was also very good at communicating with us whilst she was away. We had a problem with the stove not working and she immediately organised for a technician to come and fix it. The four donkeys have a lot of character and we became very fond of them. They needed feeding twice per day and the stable area cleaning, but this was hardly a chore with the lovely garden and amazing lake view to admire during the process. One of Anne's cats, Agate, was very friendly and quickly became affectionate. The other, Jupiter, was more shy and it took a lot of gentle coaxing to make friends with him. We were rather worried to start with as he disappeared and didn't eat for the first couple of days, but happily he then reappeared and after a few days he began to happily come to us for love and cuddles although he was still a little nervous. Anne's home has a lot of character and is very unique. If you are the kind of person that needs everything to be pristine, neat and tidy then this is not the sit for you. We however felt very much at home and loved that Anne has so many beautiful, different possessions in her home. Anne's home is a lovely place to relax, enjoy the pretty garden ( and all the wonderful fresh fruit and veggies) and of course marvel at the amazing views. There are lovely walks nearby and it's a great base from which to explore the Lavaux winelands, nearby Lausanne and Montreux, although I'm not sure how easy this would be using public transport.

Très bon contact avec Anne, soucieuse de bien nous donner les informations pour le soin de ses animaux ! Anne est une personne très chaleureuse et merci de nous avoir fait confiance ! En plus l'endroit en surplomb du lac nous offre un cadre avec une vue magnifique sur les Alpes.
