I am Ray, and along with my husband DJ, we are United Nations diplomats living in Geneva, CH.
Our family also includes our 2 young and friendly dogs.
We are both in our early 40s, and have lived in Europe for over 10 years. We have been moving around mostly due to our jobs. We are Asian expats, currently in Switzerland for 5+ years. While living in California, US, we gathered formal experience with socializing rescued dogs and cats at the SVACA shelter; collectively we have over 1500 hours volunteering there.
We have shelter experience with cats, dogs and rodents mostly, and a lot of these were special needs. I also have a five star rated pet-sitting profile locally; I pet-sit on and off, having started during and after Covid. We also foster shelter dogs sometimes.
We are organized, clean, quiet, discreet and respectful of our hosts’ homes and the local cultures. Most of the times, our dogs do everywhere with us. They are almost as well traveled as we are! We like to involve our dogs in most of the activities we take part in, so usually prefer dog friendly hikes, mountain transport, etc.
We are also hosts on Nomador, and have about 50 houseplants too, so can also help with plants ☺️
Also, I am fairly good with DIY. Though neither of us are great cooks 🫣
We usually drive with our dogs where possible, and a parking spot is appreciated!

Ray and DJ were wonderful hosts and Rayne and Shyne are lovely, affectionate doggies. We had a great stay at their beautiful apartment which is very handy to the bus stop and shops and a very comfortable place to spend some time. Ray and DJ welcomed us with a delicious lunch and dinner and even stocked the fridge with groceries for our stay. Ray communicated the dogs needs very clearly and responded to any questions we had throughout the stay.

We were warmly welcomed and very happy to meet Ray and DJ for a second stay at their place in Vernier. Rayne and Shyne are just as adorable as always and we are sure they recognised us from our previous visit! We were able to enjoy the comfortable apartment and discover more of Vernier and the surrounding districts. We look forward to seeing Ray and DJ again sometime soon – such a wonderful couple and pets!

J'ai passé un très bon séjour. Un accueil formidable de Ray et Djay qui se sont montrés aux petits soins avec moi. Les 4 chiens étaient tout simplement adorables et éduqués à la perfection! De plus, le logement est idéalement situé pour de belles balades à proximité au bord de l'eau ou pour visiter Genève. Merci encore à vous :)

We spent a wonderful week with Ray & DJ, Rayne & Shyne & also their friends’ two dogs. Ray & DJ were such kind & caring hosts & we shared so many exceptional moments together thanks to all the effort they put in to make us feel welcome. We arrived as pet-sitters and left as friends, and they we also incredibly kind to our daughter who accompanied us during our stay. We where even invited to participate in an Indian cultural festival and learned so much about Indian culture! Rayne & Shyne are delightful and affectionate & we quickly became attached them. We enjoyed discovering Vernier while taking the dogs on walks in the nearby parks & trails by the river. Vernier is well-situated with plenty to do in the area & also in Geneva and surrounding areas. We enjoyed our time so much and feel very privileged to have been selected for this pet-sit and we especially appreciate the friendship we have formed – thank you so much Ray & DJ!
