Super séjour chez Brigitte. Le contact est fluide, la maison super agréable et les chats très calins !! Au top :)

We had a truly excellent time at Brigitte and Gille's home! They are both very warm and hospitable ... we immediately felt at home when we arrived at their place! The house is a rustic beauty and very well-equipped. You have everything you need at home. In winter, you will need to heat the house using the stove in the fireplace, as only the floor is heated centrally. Requires a little muscle! They also have a large garden that yields many crops that you can eat! You will find every herb you ever knew about in that garden, and many more that you never even heard of! You will need to water the plants and take care of the greenhouse - some light work daily! And the lovely cat Lili will accompany you when you do it, making every moment a joy! Brigitte and Gilles were very generous in letting us eat from the garden when we were there. There is a small pond with fish, which you must also feed every day. The animals are so loving and affectionate. The goats were adorable and it was a joy to feed them twice a day. I looked forward to visiting them. They always ran towards us and wanted to be petted. The cats are very independent but also loving and affectionate. And the dog - Genepi - is a most special dog! He will teach you a lot of life lessons if you spend enough time walking with him. He is the gentlest creature, with a strong mind of his own. We went for walks with him up to 3 or 4 times a day! He is an elderly dog, but still very active. The area around Marcoux is also rustic and bucolic. We went on daily long and peaceful walks up the mountain. Neighbours are very friendly and kind. It is about a 30-minute walk to the town of Firminy, where you can find everything you need. The small Biocoop is a lovely little shop with many organic products and produce. It was helpful for us to have a car while we were there. You can visit surrounding towns more easily, such as St. Etienne, Lyon, or Montbrison, although it is still very possible to do it by bus/train. You will have a beautiful time at Brigitte and Gilles! You will really find peace and quiet and relaxation. And you will meet a remarkable couple and make life-long friends! ~~~ Nous avons passé un magnifique vacances chez Brigitte et Gilles! Brigitte was very welcoming and gave us all relevant information to make our stay enjoyable and mutually satisfying. The house and the area are fantastic, great walking trails all around and the town is famous for its Le Corbusier architecture. Brigitte took us to a local organic grocery as they are both eco-conscious and support local and organic farming . Animals are very affectionate.. Mountain sports enthusiasts so you can pick their brains about this.

Première expérience Nomador parfaitement réussie chez Brigitte et Gilles! Ils sont vraiment accueillants, prêts à tout expliquer et partager. Le contact a été très facile, simple et bienveillant. La maison est très bien équipée, et agréable (même en hiver). Le chien est tellement gentil, les animaux sont attachants. Nous avons un enfant de deux ans et demi et tout s'est très bien passé. Nous y sommes restés 2 semaines et nous sentions un peu comme chez nous, comme demandé par les propriétaires.
