Als Paar/Duo
Hello. We have set aside 2025 as a year to step back from work and travel to consider a broader perspective. I grew up on a dairy farm caring for cows, horses, dogs, cats and chickens, but have been teaching/guidance counselling for 25 years. My wife, Sonia, is a building certifier and marriage celebrant. We have both spent many years travelling and working through Europe, Asia, the US and Canada. I have been learning French for many years and am looking forward to putting it into practice. We live in country Queensland, Australia. We have had some experience house sitting as part of an exchange in Canada and caring for friends' houses, gardens and pets. Our arranged housesits in Europe with Nomador didn't eventuate in 2020 with Covid, so we are trying again. We don't mind too much where our adventure will lead us in 2025, we are looking forward the change, the challenges and fun!

Nous recommandons à 100% ce couple extraordinaire Sonia et Damian qui a pris soin de notre maison, de nos chiens et de nos tortues pendant nos vacances. Dès le premier contact, la communication a été rapide, fluide et très sympathique. Ils se sont occupés de nos animaux avec beaucoup d'attention et de tendresse — ils ont été véritablement chouchoutés, on les a retrouvés calmes et sereins ! Nous avions des nouvelles tous les jours ! Notre maison a été parfaitement entretenue, et nous avons même retrouvé notre jardin impeccablement soigné, ce qui a été une très belle surprise à notre retour. C’est une très belle rencontre, des personnes de confiance, sérieuses et chaleureuses, que nous recommandons les yeux fermés. Au-delà de tout ça, pour nous, cela a été une belle rencontre humaine. Encore un grand merci à eux !

I would 100% recommend Damien and Sonia as house/pet sitters. My dogs, cats and chickens were lovingly cared for and were so calm and confident when I returned. Damien and Sonia sent me regular photos, videos and updates which was very reassuring. They took care of my plants and home. I was delighted with how clean and tidy everything was left. Thank you so much.
