I’m Meg - a veteran nurse, coach and digital writer based in London. These days, I split my time between caring for the elderly (both live-in and live-out) across London and Surrey, and house sitting during my time off. It’s a lovely rhythm, and house sitting feels like a natural continuation of the care and calm I bring to my professional work.

With over 20 years’ nursing experience, I’m very used to looking after those who are elderly or vulnerable - whether they walk on two legs or four! I understand how important it is to keep a home feeling safe, settled and secure, and I treat every place I stay with the same care and respect I would my own.

If you need someone to be there around the clock while you’re away, no problem at all. My live-in care background means I’m completely used to being in the home 24/7. You won’t find me popping out all day or leaving things unattended. I’ll be on-hand, present, and keeping everything running smoothly whether that means caring for a nervous dog, watering a jungle of houseplants, or simply being a quiet presence in the home.

I also work remotely as a coach and writer, which means I’ll be in the house during the day, tapping away quietly - another layer of reassurance that your home won’t be left empty.

Whether you’re heading off for a quick weekend or a long-overdue holiday, you’ll find me sensible, reliable, and easy to communicate with. And yes, I’ll even put the bins out.
