I am an experienced person, born in 1965. Dutch national living in the Netherlands. I grew up in the countryside, lived there for many years surrounded by farms and wildlife. We owned several dogs (Boxer, Appenzeller Sennenhund, Labrador) over the years. Furthermore I am a responsible family man. My wife and I have three kids (studying or working). I am very practical, over the years we moved several times and I renovated/built our own home(s) several times. For 10+ years I have built and rented out private holiday homes in the Austrian mountains. I am a professional Business Engineer and have almost 30 years of international(global) hands-on experience in commercial entrepreneurial roles as well as working freelance, self-employed. I am also used to working away from home and working remotely. Travelling and exploring foreign cultures has always been one of my early passions. Furthermore I speak a several languages and I am flexible, pragmatic and creative.
For a variety of reasons as well as my personal experience described above I now (since 2022) have time and interest to do some house sitting and I believe that I have what it takes to do this successfully (I have references!!). Depending on the length of the house-sitting-assignment as well as the location, my wife or one of our children might visit me ? although I can easily cope on my own.
