Als Paar/Duo
We are Claudia and Rolf, a german couple living in Norway since 2001. We felt that winter in Norway are too dark and cold, so we started spending winter housesitting in France and really felt in love with this lifestyle and with many places.
Claudia has worked 20 years as occupational therapist and is now retired. Rolf is a freelance, and retired.
Housesitting gave us the opportunity to live for a while in other places and share the every day life of the new place in a quiet way. We both enjoy being outdoors, walking, meeting new people and seeing new places … and it is so much nicer to share the walk with a friendly dog or to curl up together in the evening, maybe also with the cat on the lab.
We have made very good previous house-sitting experiences and looked after 25 homes and lots of pets. We have met very kind house owners and were often invited to come again. We have met so many nice people in this way, ... neighbors or friends of the house owners became friends.

We are experienced in looking after pets, maintaining the property and tending the garden. We are a very tidy and organized couple and have high housekeeping standards. We are honest, reliable, clean & tidy, respectful and caring, non-smokers. We like to keep the house in a perfect condition.
We feel that it is a privilege to be entrusted with your home and pets and we will always care for them as if they were our own. We like to spend lots of time with the animals we look after and their companionship gives us a feeling of being „at home“.
We are happy to keep in contact while you are away to give you peace of mind that all is well. We respect home-owners' privacy and will never provide details to outsiders.
