I have 2 small dogs, Lola & Henri. They are very friendly & have had many dogsitters over the years so easily adapt to having new people looking after them.
I take them out for a walk twice a day, in the morning & evening. They love walking around the port & are good tour guides taking you around the little streets in the old heart of Barcelona where I live.
They both like to have breakfast when I get up in the morning & after that I leave dry food out for them so they can eat when they like.
They will sleep in the same room as you & Henri in particular likes his cuddles.

My apartment is on a quiet street in the old centre of Barcelona. Although it is very central it is very quiet as there are very few cars in the neighbourhood.
The apartment is on the third floor & there isn't a lift. I have 2 flatmates but they should be away during your stay.
You will have exclusive use of the bedroom & adjoining living room. The dining room is next to your room & is never used by the others. Although I have flatmates most of the apartment will be for your exclusive use.
The kitchen & bathroom are shared but that shouldn't be a problem during your stay.

It is close to lots of good bars, restaurants & shops.
It is walking distant to many top attractions & also the beach. I walk the dogs around the marina most mornings.

I had a great experience caring for Helen's dogs, Lola and Henry. The dogs are adorable and won me over immediately. They love to get out for walks but are otherwise very self-sufficient. Helen was so easy to work with - prompt clear communication. Her flat is in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, close to several notable sights and adjacent to anything you could possibly need. You must be comfortable with stairs and sharing a bathroom.
