We have 10 chickens (and no rooster), and we try to give them as much space as possible to roam and enjoy themselves. Every day, we spoil them with a little extra fresh food, which they absolutely love! They are cheerful characters and reward us with delicious fresh eggs every day.

Inside the chicken run, we have created a home for our two rabbits. They are very independent, enjoy each other's company, love to play together, and are also experts at relaxing and lounging in the sun.

In our vegetable garden, you'll find our four Indian Runner ducks. They are incredibly entertaining to watch, always bustling around, although they can be a little shy at first.

And more recently, our little family has grown with the arrival of a young duck! She was raised by us from a very early age and has become extremely tame. She loves to follow us around, whether we're walking through the garden, swimming, or simply going about our day. She has a big personality and brings a lot of joy and laughter to our home.

Our animals do not have any special needs. Apart from their usual feeding routines, they are very easy to care for. There is …

Our home is located in the countryside of Charentay, surrounded by the beautiful vineyards of the Beaujolais region. Although we enjoy the peace and tranquillity of rural life, we are conveniently located close to the motorway, and the vibrant city of Lyon is only a 45-minute drive away.

During your stay, you will have the use of our self-contained studio, which we normally rent out to guests. It is a cosy and comfortable space with its own private entrance, bathroom, toilet, and a small kitchen equipped with everything you need for your stay.

You are also welcome to enjoy our 1,050 m² garden, where you can relax and make the most of the outdoor space and the surrounding countryside.

One small favour we would greatly appreciate is if you could water our plants from time to time while we are away. It would mean a lot to us to return home and find both our animals and our little green oasis well cared for.
