We have a brittany spaniel/australian shepherd/border collie who was 8 weeks old at the end of 2022. She is very sweet but still requires quite a bit of attention. She needs at least two long walk per day, plus several smaller ones throughout (and also attentiveness to bring her out every so often to relieve herself). She is very sweet and playful. Otherwise we just ask that you keep the house in good shape and bring the mail in :)

Old farmhouse in the countryside of Dordogne. Our house is quite isolated, bordering with the forest and beautiful country walks. We are 12 mins from Montignac and 22 mins from Sarlat -- easy places to get to for a bit of shopping. There are many lovely and beautiful villages around.

We also have a small puppy, Mona, who is very sweet and full of energy. She would love to go for long walks!

We have a piano that we are very happy for you to use! Our wood-burning stove makes for very cosy evenings by the fire, and we also have a video projector that you can use to watch films on the big screen.

The countryside is beautiful and calm. Lots of paths in the forest and around to explore, bringing you to other beautiful villages. Things are quite quiet this time of year, but this is nice because it means the beautiful areas are not overrun by tourists. There is a market every week in the village nearby, but also supermarkets nearby.

We are 12 minutes away from Montignac, which is the home of the famous Lascaux caves. You can visit Lascaux to learn about prehistoric art from 20,000 years ago! In addition, there are many other prehistoric sites nearby worth checking out. As well, lots of walking and hiking trails, as well as rock climbing sites nearby.
