Our main reason for wanting a house sitter is a combination garden and property.
The garden need to be kept tidy, weeded and watered, we have just installed a watering system for all the garden except the pots, it will be left set up to do the watering for you on a regular basis but does need attension on a daily basis.

At this time of year the pool will need very little maintenance,

We are now Spanish residents since Brexit and live in a single storey house looking on to our local village, it’s a spacious house with 3 bedrooms and a study / 4th bedroom. The plot is fenced and gated. Large sitting room with kitchen, breakfast bar divider. Doors out on to to covered patio and pool area. Main bedroom with en suite, second shower room. Medium size garden but not all cultivated. Pool in a walled garden, BBQ and gazebo.

Choice of bedrooms, king double or a twin, with bathroom next door to both. Ceiling fans in all rooms. Gas for water and hob. Electric oven. IPTV Sky, UK and Spanish TV. Plenty of outside space with seating and dining. Pool.

Very peaceful, rural area but looking on to the village where most essentials can be bought, also bars, restaurant.
Views to the mountains
About 1 km to the village by road less if you walk across the valley. Mixture of French, German, Belgian and British in the area.

In front of the house above the village is the mountain of Maroma in the Sierria Tajeda National Park. Behind the house over the hill is Lake Vinuela . So it is an idea place for walks and relaxation.
Puente don Manuel is 1km by road with shops bars and restaurents.
3km away is the village of Vinuela where bank, pharmacy and Dr's 24hr emergancy clinic.
Torre del Mar / Velez Malaga is only 20mins away , they both offer shops, bars and restaurants. Torre del Mar the beach and water park as well.

We've just completed 5 weeks looking after Jo & Pat's house, garden & pool. They are lovely & relaxed people with a great home. Communication has been brilliant before, during and after the house sit. They welcomed us for a planned short handover with all the info and detail we needed as experienced house sitters. The home is in a great location, between the mountains and the sea, easy reach to the shops, easy reach to the beach by car, and several really good bars & restaurants near by - expat style, indian, italian and spanish. The house is really comfortable and quiet. A relaxing outdoor room, and a secluded lawn & pool area with views. Looking after the pool was simple, but of course easier if you've done that before. Looking after the garden was watering & dead-heading the flowers, the usual stuff for any gardening inclined people. Anyone keen on walking or road cycling or mountain biking will love the countryside around Jo & Pat's home, as we did. We will be back for sure......
