We have 1 senior dog, a 11-year-old mixed breed, who looks like a Portuguese Podengo. She is quiet most of the day and enjoys long naps. We usually walk her 2 - 3 times a day for potty visits and would like the house-sitter to do the same. She does not get along well with other dogs (that is why we are prefer sitters when we travel).
We ask the sitter to give her food twice a day - around 7 - 8 am and around 7 - 8 pm.
She is very attached to humans. So, we ask you not to leave her alone for too long (more than 8 hours a day, for example). If you go on a day trip once in a while, that's ok. We just expect you not to do it every day. We will also teach a quick routine to make her feel more relaxed when left alone.
Regarding the house, just leave it the way you found it. And please don't make noise late at night. ;)

We live in a very relaxing neighbourhood in the north of Lisbon. It is full of families, trees, gardens and cafes. Not a very touristic area, but really easy to get to most attractions, since we are a quick walking distance (5min) to the metro - the green line that goes all the way to the Tagus river. We are also very close to the Alvalade neighbourhood, which is a very nice place to go shopping, eating and having drinks. The airport is 8 min by uber from here.

Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal, is a vibrant and historic destination with a rich cultural heritage. It offers a blend of old-world charm, stunning architecture, picturesque neighbourhoods, and modern attractions. We recommend taking the 28 tram to St. George's Castle, going to Alfama, Baixa and Rossio. If you like the beach, you can to Cascais using the metro and train - a lovely day trip. Sintra is also really close - you can get there in 50 minutes by train.
Closer to home, we recommend visiting the Museu Palacio Pimenta, a lovely museum about the history of Lisbon, with a very nice garden on the back.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Elisa avec Baleia qui est une chienne très affectueuse et qui aime être câlinée. Nous avons apprécié la situation géographique du logement, près du métro et facilement et rapidement relié aux différents lieux à voir. Ceci nous a permis de faire des visites tout en restant un maximum de temps avec Baleia. Notre chambre était parfaite et le lieu de résidence très calme. Lisbonne est une ville magnifique et tranquille, j’ai adoré. Le contact était très fluide avec Elisa en cas de doute ou autre, mais j’avoue qu’elle avait tout parfaitement préparé sur un document avec les différentes instructions. C’est avec plaisir que je renouvellerai l’expérience. Merci encore pour ce séjour avec Baleia Ate logo Valérie et Nayah

I am very grateful to Elisa for trusting me with the responsibility of looking after Baleia while she was away. Baleia is a sweet dog who can get anxious during walks at times, but who loves company and snuggling up on the couch. The apartment is bright and located in a quiet area away from the touristic center. Elisa's instructions were clear and she also provided information about the neighborhood. The communication was smooth. I really enjoyed Lisbon and definitely recommend this stay !

Baleia the dog is very sweet and I enjoyed spending time with her. Elisa, the pet owner, is very nice, kind and accommodating. She also gave great suggestions on where to go visit as a tourist and good coffee shops nearby. I enjoyed their neighborhood which is outside of the tourist area but very close to it as well, by tram. It was wonderful to finally see Lisbon. I would definitely pet sit again for Elisa!
