My dog is a sweet tempered cross breed, a little like a small beagle. She was a rescue dog and is quite timid but very loving and not an aggressive bone in her body. She is very low maintenance in that she doesn't require a walk (she is reluctant to venture outside) but we have a large garden and she's happy to potter in that. We have a very independent cat who has a catflat and comes and goes as she pleases. There are three chickens so plenty of fresh eggs. The girls need feeding twice a day and also the coop needs to be kept clean. They have a run but like to be let out to scratch around in the garden.

Haus

Villa a few minutes' drive from the Medieval perched village of Fayence. It is a very tranquil house with a large garden yet is not isolated as there are shops and restaurants close by. The main accommodation is open plan and the kitchen is fitted with a wall oven, microwave, gas hob, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The bedrooms are both en-suite.

We have internet TV which gives us all the UK terrestrial channels plus Sky/BT sport.

We are in a very tranquil position, a haven of peace and quiet. It is often warm enough to sit outside in the winter but it does get cold once the sun goes down. We have reversible air con and the house is very warm. We have a log fire too but only use it 'for show' as we don't need the heat. We have a large supermarket a couple of minutes' drive as well as lovely bakers and good restaurants. We are 50 minutes from Nice airport and 40 minutes from Cannes and the beaches of the Med.
