Colva

My dogs, 1 male Savera (8yrs), 2 females (Shaylee 7yrs and Shanu 5yrs) are very friendly, neutered and all have had their relevant injections for Rabies, etc. Although my dogs are very independent, it is very important you commit yourself, feeding, weekly bathing, playing with them, taking them for walks and to the Colva beach (they love the beach) and giving them lots of love.
They are very gentle but like any dogs, always alert. They do not bark at night, unless they hear something suspicious. They sleep in the bungalow with me, sharing the bed.
Savera, my eldest had a bad accident last year, where he was hit by 3 motorbikes, while they were staying at a different town. He had become paralyzed waist down, but luckily, he is absolutely fine now, he can walk and run. Savera's back is still weak, so you have to help him to get on the bed. He will need daily light massage on his back. Savera is the Guardian for the girls and never leaves them from his sight. They all love each other very much.

As this is a long sitting, you may not be able to do the whole dates of requirement, although it would be great. Please advise me what dates you are available so that i can try and fit in other sitters for the outstanding dates.

I am looking for someone(s) who are dedicated dog lovers to look after my 3 dogs and 2 bedroom RENT FREE bungalow. We live in Colva, Sth Goa, India. My dogs, 1 male (8yrs), 2 females (7yrs and 5yrs) are very friendly, neutered and all have had their relevant injections for Rabies, etc.

The bungalow is situated in a very peaceful and pleasant village setting in Colva and the Colva Beach is approx. 3 kms away, walking distance. It is close to all amenities including Super Markets, and family run bar and restaurants. The main Margao town is approx. 6 kms away which is accessible by local buses, taxi or Rickshaws. The main Colva to Margao Beach Road has plenty of shops, restaurants, Internet facilities. You can also, hire bicycles, scooters, motorbikes or even cars.

The bungalow comprises of 2 bedrooms (smaller one with its own balcony), sitting room, kitchen and English toilet/shower. It also has its own large enclosed garden. There is a gallery at the entrance of bungalow where you can enjoy the sunset. Internet can be available via Router. There is also a dairy farm nearby, where you can purchase fresh milk everyday. I have very friendly and helpful neighbours.

If you are a garden lover, there's plenty do, e.g. watering, weeding etc., gardening tools available. There are some fruit trees in the garden, Guavas, Bananas, Mangoes and Coconut trees. You will even enjoy playing with my dogs in the big garden. You can enjoy your tea/beer in the gallery or sitting in the garden. You will be meeting our neighbours who are always very keen to exchange stories, ideas.

There is so much to see and explore in Colva and other beaches on the coast line. There are many small regions surrounding Colva that you can explore by the local buses or other form of transports and if you want to go a bit further, Tourist Buses are available for day trips.
