We have 2 indoor cats, Whiteout (mom, about 6 years old) and Buggy (son, about 5 years old). We adopted them while living in Morocco, and they moved back to Chicago with us in July 2022. They have an automatic feeder, but they need some tuna twice a day, fresh water and a bit of attention or play time each day.

We live in a spacious first floor condo in a historic Chicago 3 flat. It has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in the historic Hyde Park / Kenwood neighborhood of Chicago.

The condo can sleep about 4 people. There is a king bed, a twin bed, a loft double bed, and a Murphy double bed in the TV room. The kitchen was renovated in 2023

Everything is walkable in this neighborhood, such as restaurants, cafes, markets, shopping, and more. You can walk to Lake Michigan in about 10 minutes. There is a Metra train stop and CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) bus stop within a 5 minute walk, which gets you to downtown Chicago in 15 minutes. There is a nice neighborhood feel to the area, while all the amenities of the big city are just a short distance away.

Katy et son mari ont été très bienveillants que cela soit avant, pendant et après mon séjour chez eux. Whiteout et Buggy sont des chats adorables, très calmes qui se sont rapprochés au fur et à mesure pour ma plus grande joie. L´appartement est grand avec beaucoup de style et la voisine est charmante. N´hésitez pas à répondre à cette annonce.

Chicago est une très belle ville pour laquelle j'ai eu un coup de coeur lors d'un précédent voyage en vacances. C'était donc avec une grande joie que j'y suis retournée mais cette fois-ci pour tenir compagnie à 2 magnifiques chats. Je suis arrivée la veille et j'ai dormi dans un super hôtel à proximité du domicile de la famille où on y mange très bien. Kate m'a accueillie et a expliqué toutes les informations essentielles. Nous avions déjà pu échanger via WATSAPP avant mon arrivée. J'ai rencontré également le reste de la famille. Les chats sont super affectueux, une fois qu'ils se sont habitués à moi. Je n'ai pas vu le temps passé et partagé cette semaine avec eux m'a rempli de bonheur. L'appartement est spacieux, bien aménagé et le lit super confortable. La résidence est agréable et très proche du centre ville grâce à un bus qui amène directement en 15 mn. Il y a toutes les commodités à proximité. Kate a mis à disposition sa carte de transport. La famille est très gentille et accueillante.
