We have two Boston Terrier girls, age 4,5 and 5,5. They’re super-social, and will jump on your lap/sleep under your blanket if allowed, lick-kiss you to death, if allowed 😊 They love to be out and about in good weather, and hate to leave the door-step when rainy and wet... They can deal with hours of hiking in the nearby mountains, and also with totally lazy days under blankets or being roasted in front of the fire place in winter.

We let out two guest rooms in the downstairs apartment (AirBnB), and they share the house main entrance door with us/you. In summer season its is normally quite bizzy, but the guest room stays are restricted to minimum three nights, so as to reduce the numbers of guests/check-ins.

The sitters will have private access to "our flat" with a full size kitchen, bathroom and top floor living room (with double bed) for her-/him//themselves + dogs (guest room guests have private kitchen/bathroom).

We need sitters for some 3+ weeks from at least Wednesday 24 June (we depart in the eve of Thursday 25 June) to Saturday 18 July (may be longer, if more convenient for sitters, as we return on Fri …

Haus

Old (but upgraded and modernized) traditional Bergen wooden house, in picturesque area of similar houses. The Bergen summer is not a guaranteed sunshine time of year (July has been rather wet for the past couple of summers, but this things change and are very unpredictable), but in good weather our front yard is a perfect sunny spot to sitt/lay and enjoy.

Close to to sea (100 m), where our two recreational kayaks can easily be carried to (all equipment included) and with good places for a dip in the ocean. Also just down the hill from hiking trails, and 15-20 mins walk to old Harbour/city centre.

Nous avons passés trois superbes semaines dans la maison d'Andreas et sa famille. Ils ont été très accueillant et on tout fait pour que notre séjour se passe au mieux. Les deux chiennes que nous avons gardé étaient dès plus sympathiques et adorables! Nous reviendrons avec un très grand plaisir 🙂

Wonderful experience! We stayed in Bergen for almost three weeks taking care of Tinka and Kajsa, two adorable and well-behaved Boston Terriers. They were calm, sweet, and a joy to be around. Bergen is a beautiful city, and Andreas’ home is just as lovely! Comfortable, cozy, and in a great location. We enjoyed exploring the mountains, discovering peaceful lakes and stunning forests. Andreas and his family were incredibly kind and welcoming. We felt very comfortable and had a great time during our stay. It was a truly enjoyable and enriching experience!
