We have two beatiful cats that need care during our holidays. The tasks involved are: feeding the cats once per day (~7pm) and cleaning their litter box once per 3-4 days. The cats eat in separate rooms, because one is greedier than the other 😉. They are affectionate once they know you, and will sleep in your bed if you let them.

We also own several plants, so keeping an eye on them and water them once in a while would be greatly appreciated 🥰

Super bright 2 bedroom apartment in Amsterdam east. South facing with 2 balconies, enjoys sun all day. Quiet residential area, 500m from a beatiful park (Flevopark), and a 10min walk to either shopping center (Oostpoort) or bustling bars/restau area (Javastraat).

Great collection of philosophy & history books, and some sci-fi gems in between. Freely available subscriptions of Netflix, Disney, Prime, HBO & Showtime for the film lovers. Fiber optic internet, so perfectly suited for WFH

The house is fully furnished & equipped with all amenities. We love to cook, so I bet there isn't a spice you might need and not find in our pantry. There is an open market close by (Dappermarkt, runs 6 days/week, 10min bike ride from our home) and you can use our (electric) bike during your visit. Tram & bus stops are around the corner, same with garbage & recycling points.

We had the absolute best time taking care of Aka and Shiro! Danai and Marten were so incredibly hospitable and were very easy to communicate with the entire stay. It was so fabulous to meet them and we felt completely at home in their lovely space. The location was wonderful as it was out of the busy center of Amsterdam but still easily accessible by bike, and we spent a lot of time in the gorgeous park next door. We recommend this house sit whole heartedly and hope to come back again! 5 stars all around!
