We will be traveling to northern spain in our camper van this August and we will take our dogs with us this time. We ask you to do pool maintenance (we will show you how!) And to feed the cat. Also some laundry and guest greeting for our three rental cottages here at casa de carrasco (a cleaning woman comes in to clean the rental cottages, and i manage all bookings remotely).The vegetable patch is on automatic irrigation. We ask you to pick the vegetables every day for your own use. And there are some flower pots in the courtyard to water each day with the hose provided. All of the chores will take you no more than 1 - 1.5hrs each day.
*THE DOGS ARE ONLY HERE FOR WINTER HOUSE SITTERS *We have a chihuahua and a rabbit dog. They are both very cuddly and they need to be fed twice a day and walked once per day. The dogs like to be by your side and are great company. The cat is a farm cat and she just needs to be fed outside once per day.

Restored farmhouse (2 bedrooms) in the country with a 10 acre olive grove, and a swimming pool. Lots of hiking and mountain biking straight out of the front door into the surrounding Parc Natural. If you love nature and the outdoors you will love it here!

We provide lots of local information so you can enjoy your time in the region. There is a castle, a river, the mediterranean coast is just 20 minutes drive. The hiking trails are endless here too.

The olive farm is very relaxing and is within a Parc Natural. You will need to BRING YOUR OWN CAR as it is a rural environment. The views are stunning and the bedroom is very comfortable. You have a kitchen with simple facilities such as an oven, fridge, sink. It it easy to keep this house cool in the summer with fans, and warm in the winter with a wood burning stove. We provide free solar powered electricity, water, internet and laundry.

Tourismus und Freizeit

The costa dorada is just 25 minutes drive away. There you will find the coast path and lots of beautiful beaches to explore. Here in the mountains the hiking trails straight out of the front door are fantastic. If you like wine there is a wine tasting tour and museum that you will love. The kayaking on the river ebro is also fun. The Snorkeling at the coast is beautiful and we provide free equipment. The tapas bars at the coast serve delicious local food, and you can also enjoy the economical daily lunchtime menus at all of the local restaurants.

Fantastic stay at Carrasco, thank you again Sarah & Martin! We pet-sitted at Carrasco (it's the name of Sarah & Martin's house)... with an incredible garden in the middle of the olive trees! Their dogs Ruby and Mimi are so cute and lovely and their cat Mitsy is just the same :) Sarah & Martin have been really nice as they took all the time needed to show us everything in and around the house, and to answer the many questions we had. We really enjoyed getting to know them, they're really fun and interesting. We'll be really happy to see them again, whether it's in Spain or France.

Une expérience exceptionnelle ! Les animaux sont formidables tout comme leurs propriétaires. La maison est située dans un havre de paix, pour ceux qui aiment la nature et le calme. L’accueil des locataires du gîte s’est très bien déroulé et n’a pas posé de problèmes, bien au contraire. L’installation eau et électricité hors réseau ne nous a absolument pas perturbé dans notre fonctionnement habituel. Bref, un séjour à recommander sans réserve.
