We have a cat named Wasabi. He needs to be fed once his bowl gets empty (he is not food crazy)- this will end up being once every two days or so. The sandbox needs to be cleaned once a day. If you can play with the cat and give him attention, that would be a plus.
Our main issue is that it is really important to keep the windows closed and be careful when going to the balcony to not let the cat leave (as it is a 6th floor, any fall would be fatal).
Besides this, we have plants inside, that need water once a week, and vegetables on the balcony that need to be watered daily.

We are leaving on the 23th of April at 9am so it would be ideal of we could meet you before we go (we have space to fit 4 people besides us in the house). But if you can't, that is ok too. We are also comfortable with a shorter stay (we can get friends and family to fill in for the time you are not here)

Spacious (75m2) T1 apartment with a lot of sunlight ☀️ and two balconies with a view. You will have full access to a bedroom with a double bed, a fully equiped kitchen, bathroom (with a shower) and a living room with a projector. It also has lots of plants! 🌿🌱 The bedroom and one of the balconies has a beautiful view to the river, so you get to enjoy beautiful sunsets in the balcony with a glass of wine. We also have a projector and a huge, confy sofa that you are welcome to use and make some cozy movie nights. On the second balcony we have a small grill that you can use to grill some local fish for instance (this is my personal favourite). Located in the suburbs, you have peace and quiet while also 20 min away from the centre of Lisbon (by train). You have a local market right on the side on Friday mornings. There is a beautiful riverside walkway that extends for 8 km where you can walk, run or bike. You can also explore the different parks and local restaurants (we can give you some recommendations!). Tourismus und Freizeit

There is so much to explore here, it just depends on what your style is.

For some nature immersion, I would have a cozy day exploring the riverside walkway and a local waterfall.

I would for sure hop on the 20 min train ride to explore the centre of Lisbon: from the St.Jorge Castle (with a beautiful view) to the Pastéis de Belém, passing though some cool spots like LX factory and Alfama... Lisbon is full of charisma and events to explore and immerse yourself in the culture.

For a deeper adventure day, I would hop on a train + metro + train combo to visit Sintra. It is a natural park where you can choose to do hiking or immerse yourself in beautiful places and castles. Either way, it is really mystical and nice :) one of my favourite places ever.

We had an amazing stay at Alice and Rita’s place. Wasabi is a lovely, cute and talkative cat who loves being cuddled 🥰 We had some funny moments playing with him. Alice and Rita left us really clear informations about the house, the plants and wasabi so it was easy to take care of everything while they were on holidays. In case of any need they also were available to join. We had the opportunity to go for some walks along the river and also do a day trip to Lisbon which is super accessible by train. The cherry on the top was the farmers market every Friday morning. Thanks for everything, we would be happy to come back and take care of wasabi ❤️
