I have a lovely one year old ginger cat. He's the friendliest cat in the world. He is used to going out and spending the day in the park, and coming back in the evening. He's very happy to have company but very easy to manage. He almost never uses his home litter. Everyone knows him in the neighborhood. He needs to be let out in the morning and back in at night. He's independent but sociable. He's also dog friendly because he lives with our two dogs (who are coming with us for the holidays so they don't need sitting). So you're more than welcome to bring your dog if you have one (and if he's not a cat killer!)

I live in an apartment made of two main bedrooms one small bedroom with a single bed a big living room with 15 mq terrace/balcony with table chairs and a small sofa, kitchen, one bathroom with shower and bath and two extra small balconies. The flat is in a peaceful residential area inside a park (Parco delle Sabine), the apartment building has only 3 floors and six apartments. I live at the second floor with lift. The house has a garage for parking your car safely. The flat has direct access to the park from within the communal garden. It has wi-fi and playstation and a fully equipped kitchen. It's incredibly silent, surrounded by nature and no cars can be heard. It is also very well ventilated because its windows face three different directions. The park is inhabited by many wild animals, foxes and an owl that can be heard at night. It is at a five minutes walking distance from Porta di Roma, the biggest shopping center in Italy. The area is peaceful and friendly. We often forget our keys in the lock when we get in! We feel safe and easy going in our neighborhood. We're in the city but if does feel like being in the country in some way. The park the house is in is very beautiful and a lovely place to go running or walking.

We live in Rome! You can take the number 80 bus and you'll be right in centre of town with all the related attractions! But the house is in a strategic place for going out of the city too because it's just by the Grande Raccordo Anulare that connects the city to the rest of Italy and nearby places...(including the sea and lakes). We can give many suggestions in this regard to our sitters...

Marta is an adorable host, we didn't have the chance to meet each other but she guided me very well so I can feel comfortable in her house and with the cat Gatto. She was always available to answer my questions and it was really nice. The cat Gatto is very independant and easy-going, it was a pleasure to be his cat-sitter. I'm very grateful for this experience :)
