Helene's cats were a pleasure to look after! They were very independent but came to us by the end of the stay for a stroke and for company. The workshop/ studio is remote but quiet and relaxing. Helene had told us that we would need our own car as it wasn't possible to use public transport so we were well prepared! The workshop/ studio was well stocked with wood for the stove and beautifully warm when it was lit. Its a great place to relax and the garden was visited by white tail deer, chipmunks, rabbits and a variety of birdlife including wild turkeys. Helene was a lovely host and we enjoyed a local concert and meal with her. We would recommend this stay for people that like quietness and relaxation in a beautiful part of Canada.
