My name is Amanda and I’m a 33 year old American (I hate Trump too) looking to travel and help people take care of their animals and homes. I love traveling, art, animals, and history. I was an English and Spanish teacher, as well as an owner of a vintage clothing store before going back to school for my masters in sustainability in Paris. I lived and worked in Paris for 1.5 years and visit as often as possible. I hope to continue to return to see more of France and improve my French. I have several years experience fostering, rescuing and volunteering with animal shelters. I have a dog and two cats of my own back home. I am very clean, I do not smoke, and I would make sure to give prompt updates and responses while you’re away. I hope to be able to give hosts peace of mind when they travel by ensuring their animals are loved and safe. Thank you for considering me :)

I cannot recommend Amanda highly enough for the exceptional care she provided to my cat, Poppy, and my few plants during the month I was away. Amanda was a true professional and a genuinely caring individual who went above and beyond to ensure Poppy was happy and well looked after. She took the time to learn about Poppy's routines, preferences, and quirks, ensuring that she received just the right amount of care, attention, and playtime. Throughout the month, Amanda kept me updated regularly with sweet check-ins and photos of Poppy, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Additionally, I had the chance to live with Amanda for a week when I returned, as she stayed in my roommate’s empty room. She was a respectful and considerate housemate—mindful of shared spaces, tidy, and easy to communicate with :) Clearly not only a great pet sitter but also a wonderful person to be around! Do not hesitate to trust Amanda your fur babies! She is responsible, reliable, mature, and genuinely cares about the well-being of pets. Thanks again, Amanda :)))
