I recently had the pleasure of staying with Manchas at Corinne's house in Angoulins. Manchas is an easy cat to care for, and I simply fell in love with her. She liked to rest in the same room as me, though not necessarily on my lap. She slept in the bedroom with me but did not disturb. When she wanted solitude, she rested in a special spot in the garage. And Manchas is a surprisinglyly playful senior. She chased her balls around, chomped on a cardboard box and stalked a toy that I dangled for her. Charming! The house has a nice glassed-in veranda and peaceful yard. I enjoyed sitting there in the morning with my coffee. (I bought instant coffee, as the coffee maker did not suit me.) The tea kettle is good. I appreciated the toaster, too. I felt comfortable. Corinne made me feel extra welcome by clearing space for me in the fridge and freezer, and even provided a place to hang my clothes. There were towels laid out for me, and the place was clean. You might need to know that Corinne has dogs, which you may meet on arrival. They accompanied her on her holiday and did not enter the house after its cleaning. I mention this only in case of extreme allergy or fear of dogs. I was able to park my car in Corinne's driveway, and her quiet neighborhood was a very good point from which to explore the surrounding area, including local beaches and Île de Ré. It is also a good area for hiking and biking. I particularly appreciated the clear and detailed communication with Corinne. While I unfortunately cannot speak French, Corinne and I managed using WhatsApp, which has a built-in translation tool. In person we spoke English. I enjoyed my stay very much and thank Corinne for the opportunity and her trust. And to sweet Manchas: I miss you!

J'ai passé un excellent séjour ensoleillé en Charente-Maritime. Je remercie Corinne pour son accueil chaleureux et sa confiance. Sa maison lumineuse avec jardin, véranda, et place de parking est située dans un quartier calme à Angoulins, proche des plages, de La Rochelle, des commerces .Beaucoup de lieux à visiter aux alentours. J'ai bien sûr adoré la compagnie de Manchas la bavarde ,très sociable, dormant la nuit à mes côtés ,me faisant la fête à chaque retour d'escapades. Au plaisir de se revoir.

Merci à Corinne qui m'a permis de passer un excellent séjour dans sa maison d'Angoulins. J'ai fait la connaissance de Manchas , une adorable chatte très bavarde et très affectueuse avec laquelle je me suis parfaitement entendue . M'occuper et veiller sur elle a été un véritable bonheur pour moi. La région est très agréable et les balades ne manquent pas.
