Als Paar/Duo
We're a retired, fit and active Kiwi couple who spend our winters (May-Oct) exploring Europe, Australia, and other warmer climates. We started house/pet sitting in 2021 when we had an extended visit in Australia (during Covid lockdown) and have now had 40 sits in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. We love staying connected to animals when we travel, and particularly enjoy looking after families of animals in rural locations. All of our sits have been rated 5 star in every category, we’re happy to provide the reviews from other petsitting sites (Trusted HouseSitters and Aussie HouseSitters). During the previous 20 years traveling with our children, we also had over 100 home exchanges all over the world. Our backgrounds are in real estate, IT, Project Management and tennis.

I can highly recommend Bill and Tekla as house-sitters. They took great care of the dogs, the cat and hens as well as the house. They were sending updates with pics on a daily basis and were very alert on the well-being of the animals. When one of the dogs was not feeling great they noticed and took him to the vet. It was a great couple that I can recommend without hesitation, your fur friends and house will be in good hands!
