Hi, thank you for visiting my page. I am new to Nomador and have expanded from using Trusted House Sitters. Please see link to my reviews below.
My name is Helina (33) and I am a remote technical support and casual academic research writer. I have been nomading around since the beginning of 2020 (somewhat less frequently before that), I have had experience with animals from petsitting for Trusted House Sitters and for friends as well as through volunteering at animal shelters. I also administered medication during sits including tablets and helping the vet with injections. The cat shelter had both animal shelter and hotel section and I took care of both parts to the best of my abilities. Most owners were very satisfied with our care when they picked them up. My prior hosts describe me as easy going, clean and introvert. Being hosted at a home, even with renting a place, being considerate and respectful of their home and space is really important to me. So I try my best to communicate before hand and during a stay to make sure there are particular rules to keep in mind.
My two passions are traveling and animals, especially cats. My most recent sit was in Brussels where I sat two very cute cats.
If you are wondering what I would be like during a petsit, I am also a bit of a home body as a remote worker for tech support; so your furry friends won't feel alone. I take great joy in ensuring they get enough attention and supervisor, and of course, enjoy learning about their unique personalities and well as give them space when they need it.The animals that warm up to me the fastest are cats, especially senior cats. I have experience taking care of them quite often. I have also sat dogs, hamsters, parrots, farm animals before.

It was a pleasure to host Helina, who is very friendly and outgoing! Our cats accepted her right away and were happy and relaxed when we came back. She gave us regular updates during our absence so that we felt fully confident that they were well taken care of and got all the cuddles :-) We found the house spotless and bedsheets and towels washed upon our return. Thank you and we can recommend Helina without any hesitation.
