Such a great stay. Animals were delightful, and the accommodations very good. Thoroughly enjoyable and happy to recommend.

Franck et moi avons passé un excellent moment à Lavoine chez Caroline et Benjamin, avec l'oie et le jar, les deux chevaux (présents dans un pré à quelques minutes de la maison) et bien entendu la charmante Seccotine à moustaches. Les oies, qui vivent leur vie dans le terrain la plupart du temps, sont calmes. Saturnin, le jar, est curieux mais pas agressif. Seccotine, la chatte, est particulièrement sociable et en confiance, et ne se lasse pas des câlins. La maison est très agréable, et nous avons adoré les environs, qui offrent de multiples possibilités de promenades à pied (ainsi que des sentiers VTT, même si nous n'en avons pas fait). Caroline et Benjamin se sont montrés vraiment avenants et à notre écoute, et ont même très gentiment accepté que nous restions encore 2 jours après leur retour afin de nous éviter la route jusqu'à chez nous entre deux gardiennages (quasi) consécutifs. Merci encore pour ce geste. Nous recommandons totalement un séjour en compagnie de tout ce petit monde.

I had the pleasure of house sitting for Caroline and Benjamin at their lovely farmhouse in Lavoine, where I cared for their cat, two horses, a goose, and a duck. Nestled in a picturesque setting, their home is surrounded by nature, with walking trails and forest paths just outside the door. Enough to spend longer stretches of time there. The house itself is a beautifully restored farmhouse, full of light and charm, with thoughtfully arranged guest quarters. The animals were a true pleasure —Seccotine the cat, especially, was sweet and very affectionate. Caroline and Benjamin are very much animal lovers and attentive hosts who ensured I was comfortable throughout my stay. Lavoine and the surrounding region invite quiet discovery and offer a truly serene countryside experience. I warmly recommend this house sit to those in search of calm and connection with nature.
