We are a semi retired couple residing in rural Tauranga, New Zealand. We have 3 grown children who are off doing their own thing at University and RNZAF. We own a beautiful lifestyle property with views to famous Mount Maunganui. Over the years we have cultivated a deep passion for travelling, exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. We have been fortunate to travel to different parts of the world, forging connections with people from diverse backgrounds.
Rowan is a keen golfer and enjoys most sports when time allows. Maggie enjoys dragon boating, horse riding and crafts. Together we are keen walkers and enjoy the great outdoors.
We discovered the wonderful world of e-biking on a recent trip to France and highly recommend it! We love walking too - it’s a great way to explore a new place and take in the sights and sounds.
We both absolutely adore animals and we were saddened to lose our wonderful and most cherished family cat, Sparkle, at the ripe old age of 18.
Over the years we have owned cats, dogs, chickens, goldfish, and a couple of lambs. All of these pets have brought so much joy to our family.
Our commitment to trustworthiness and integrity extends far beyond our love for animals. We have both undergone police clearance checks for previous employment, showcasing our dedication to maintaining a high standard of trust and professionalism.
We respect the privacy and belongings of others. Reviews on Air BnB are testament to this.
As we are not in a position to commit to owning animals at present, house sitting and caring for your pets is a great substitute.

It has been a real pleasure to meet Maggie and Rowan. They are wonderful people, cat lovers, real travellers and easy to talk to. They took really good care of Capuche, our plants and our appartement, we had regular news from them and we returned to a clean home with an happy cat and a good meal in the fridge. A perfect stay, we recommend them.
