Hi! We are Michael (30) and Gaby (30, a couple of travelers, who met 6 years ago at a Latin festival in Canada and have been sharing our passion for traveling together ever since. We have done Work Away and Couch Surfing over the past years in some countries, where we often make bonds with the not only the hosts but also pets as well. Now we are here in France with a working holiday visa, we would love to bring our love for animals to pet sitting, discovering hidden furry gems of France and working on projects while waiting for the start of our job in the Alps for the winter season.
Even though we are new to Nomador, we have other previous experiences looking after other peoples' animals via Couch Surfing or part taking in animal care via Work Away. We also have plenty of experience from taking care of our parents animals back in Mexico, two schnauzers (Spike & Fenix), 1 French poodle (Salchicha), 1 cat (Totoro) and in the Czech Republic an Australian Shepherd/Black Labrador Retriever (Dexter).
Growing up Gaby and Mike both had many different kinds of pets. Actually, they've had most kinds of pets you could think of except perhaps, horses, cows, pigs or unicorns. Between us we've had dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, tortoises, ducks, rabbits, birds a frog and even snails!
We love giving pets the attention they ask for, be that energetic playing and long walks or just keeping an eye on each other making sure they are fed properly. Taking care of your loved ones is a personal matter and we believe it requires attention and care with not only your pet but with you as well, therefore we'll be keeping you up to date on how your pets are doing and of their care over the period you are away.

Je n'ai pas de mots pour dire le plaisir que nous avons eu à accueillir Mike pour un nouveau séjour puis Gaby qui est venu le rejoindre peu avant de nous retrouver lors de notre attivée à Roissy. Comment vous dire leur grande gentillesse, les soins qu’ils ont réservé à nos protégés, et les nombreuses petites attentions et surprises qu’ils nous ont prodigué. A notre retour, toute notre tribu était en pleine forme, la maison et la terrasse (que nous n’avions pas eu le temps de passer au carsher avant notre départ) étaient impeccables et de belles surprises nous attendaient dans le frigo lesquelles nous ont permis de nous régaler trois jours durant. Un joli dessein de notre ponette et de nos trois chats nous attendait même parmi les photos aimantées sur la porte de notre réfrigérateur. Nous attendons avec joie la visite qu’ils nous ont promis avant de reprendre leur vol pour le Canada et espérons qu’ils passeront du temps avec et ou chez nous lors de leur prochain voyage en Europe.

Mike and Gaby : fantastic house/farm-sitters We left our farm in the care of Mike and Gaby for a week. We had previously met through workaway so they knew some of the routine. They took great care of the animals, the gardens, the house. One cat needs medicine twice a day, we have a very ornery rooster, there was some fall weeding needed and the house is only heated with a wood-burning stove. They handled it all without any trouble and were able to enjoy time discovering the Morvan. They really love animals and spend quality time caring for them. We were welcomed home with a delicious home cooked dinner, a Czech family recipe from Mike. We enjoyed the time we spent in their company. They are trustworthy and lovely people.

Mike et Gaby forment un jeune couple absolument adorable. Ils ont pris le plus grand soin de nos protégés, de notre maison et notre voiture. Mike et Gaby nous ont templacé avec soin et grande gentillesse auprès de notre ponette de nos trois chats et des hérissons, félins et oiseaux du jardin. De plus, ils ont pris soin de nous en nous laissant de délicieuses surprises dans notre réfrigérateur. Non seulement nous les recommandons vivement mais nous espèrons avoir le plaisir de les accueillir à nouveau en simple visite ou pour un nouveau séjour de home-sitting.
