We are a happy and cheerful Polish family living in a small town in Silesia, in the south of Poland. We live close to our extended family and value strong, warm relationships. We enjoy our work, our hobbies, and we homeschool our children, focusing on respect and love, curiosity, and living life fully.
We are Christians and try to live according to Bible values, with respect for life, nature and people. Common sense with wisdom, kindness, and emotional intelligence are very important to us.
During our 18 years of marriage, we have hosted many families, couples, and young people through programs such as Couchsurfing, Servas, and Workaway. We also own a mountain cabin which we regularly share with family, friends, and people from around the world through house and apartment exchanges. Our home has always been open, and thanks to these experiences our children speak fluent English and are learning Spanish. Dagna is also learning Spanish, and Dominik is learning Chinese.
Some of our close friends have been house and house sitting in England for the past two years and loved the experience. This inspired us to try it ourselves, especially as we feel the need to slow down a little after many years of intensive travel and enjoy a calmer, more grounded way of spending time.
Another reason is that we don’t have pets at home, while our children absolutely love animals. Most of all, our daughter Miriam is passionate about horses. She has been riding horses for seven years, volunteers at a stable, and dreams of one day having her own ranch with horses and farm animals. As a family with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a realistic long-term plan, we truly feel connected to this vision of living closer to nature and helping people slow down, reconnect, and enjoy simple things.
As Miriam is still a teenager and we are actively working (Dominik works in banking and board game publishing/design, Dagna is a Business Development Manager and co-owner of a construction company), house and pet sitting feels like a wonderful way to gain experience, care for animals—especially horses—and enjoy beautiful places.
We are a tidy, respectful family and keep our home clean and well cared for. We would expect the same from the home we are entrusted with, although of course we are happy to do regular cleaning and take full responsibility for the property.
We would love to help care for animals, especially horses and/or dogs, and Miriam would be delighted to ride if that is possible. We would be truly honored if you trusted us with your home and your animals, and we would take that responsibility with great care and gratitude.

Exceptionnel :) Une famille hyper sympathique, respectueuse, un couple avec deux enfants adorables. Ils se sont occupés de nos animaux et de notre maison comme chez eux. Nous avons adoré passer un peu de temps avec eux à notre retour. Nous espérons vraiment les revoir, peut-être en allant chez eux en Pologne un de ces jours. :) N'hésitez pas à les inviter pour vos animaux s'ils vous le proposent.
