Hi! We are Jantien (38) and Robin (44), a Belgian couple from Antwerp, and proud cat parents to Marcel & Patatje. We love to travel, but it’s important to us that our cats can stay in their familiar, comfortable home environment. That’s why we occasionally look for a kind and reliable petsitter.
🐾 About us
Jantien works as an event consultant for the City of Antwerp and loves yoga, nature walks, sailing, and a good book. Robin works for a bailiff’s office and is also a radio presenter at Radio Minerva. He’s a true walking music and film encyclopedia. Secretly, he is also a big soccer fan.
Together, we’re a warm, calm and responsible duo who love good food, discovering new places and enjoying life’s little (and big) adventures.
😺 Our cats
Marcel & Patatje are two sweet, social cats who feel happiest in their own safe surroundings. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing that someone caring is looking after them while we’re away.

I absolutely loved my stay with Marcel and Patatje! Jantien and Robin welcomed me very warmly, and the welcome guide they prepared with everything to know about the house and the surrounding area was very clear and helpful. Communication was also great both before and during the stay. I was lucky to stay in a beautiful, comfortable, and well-located home with very little traffic, as well as grocery stores and lovely walking spots nearby. Marcel is an incredibly sweet cat; it was so cute how he let out a little meow every time he came back inside, or how he jumped at every moving reflection of light! Patatje is very affectionate and always looking for cuddles; she was adorable whenever she stood up on her hind legs to rub against my hand or when she was kneading my lap while I was petting her. I highly recommend this sit. Thank you so much to Jantien and Robin for having me!

J'ai été parfaitement bien accueillie par Jantien et Robin, un couple d'une grande gentillesse avec lequel la communication a été très simple et facile avant, pendant et après le séjour. Jantien est venue me chercher a la gare afin de me montrer toutes les petites choses importantes a savoir, que ce soit dans les transports en communs, les commerces etc.Enduite d'autres indications m'attendaient sur les bons restaurants du quartier. Leur maison, sur la rive gauche de l'Escaut, est un bijou, très lumineuse, chaleureuse et agréable. J'ai adoré prendre le bac (gratuit)pour traverser l'Escaut et me rendre dans le centre d'Anvers (5mn de traversée). Depuis la rive gauche l1 vue sur la Skyline d'Anvers est superbe. La ville regorge de musée et choses a découvrir. Enfin, et surtout, il y a Marcel et Papatje, deux adorables chats (un mâle , une femelle, un noir, un blanc) pour lesquels, on fond d'amour. D'une infinie douceur, cherchant les caresses, c'est également un régal de les voir jouer ensemble. Une expérience Nomador que je recommande donc absolument et sans aucune hésitation ! Et merci encore a Jantien et Robin pour m'avoir fait confiance!
