Danielle

I had such a fantastic time at Danielle’s family home, taking care of her two cats as well as her parents’ dog and cat. Sahara is an incredibly cuddly cat who will happily sit on your lap and ask for cuddles for hours. Alice is a shy and independent little night cat who will still surprise you by rubbing herself against your legs when you’re not looking, haha. Then there are the grandparents’ pets: Mr Cat is a little nugget of joy and such an innocent, sweet cat, who just needed to be separated from the rest of the household because Sahara wasn’t quite as fond of her! And there’s Benny the dog, whose ideal lifestyle would be to be glued to you 24/7 and carried everywhere you go. 😂 A truly entertaining little family! The house itself is extremely modern and very well equipped, with workout equipment, a jacuzzi, and even access to their car. It’s only minutes away from the beach, lovely cafés and restaurants, and everything the vibrant community of Laguna Beach and Southern California has to offer. Danielle and everyone else made me feel incredibly welcome from the get-go: taking me on a tour of the area, treating me to restaurants multiple times, going Costco shopping together, and spending entire afternoons chatting and catching up like old friends. It really felt like finding a little family in the hills of Laguna Beach. I genuinely can’t wait to go back, whether it’s to petsit for them again or simply to grab something together. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay! ❤️
