Hi, I’m Jemma, a 31-year-old New Zealander currently living in Paris.

I’ve spent the last three years living and working in the UK as a Senior Policy Advisor for the UK and Welsh Governments. I loved living there and being so close to Europe, which inspired me to spend more time travelling. I’ve decided to base myself in France for a while to learn the language, experience a new culture, and meet people from different backgrounds.

I grew up with dogs and am very comfortable caring for them, and I’ve also spent plenty of time looking after friends’ and family members’ cats. I’m not in a position to have a pet of my own while travelling, so I really value the opportunity to spend time with animals and care for them as part of my day-to-day life.

I'm a big walker, a keen cook, and a lover of a gripping TV series or podcast. Getting out in nature is really important to me, so I would love to take dogs out for walks if they are capable, but I would equally love to cuddle up with a cat on the sofa. I also love to read, explore art galleries, and find the best local cafes wherever I travel.

I’m tidy, respectful, and reliable, and I understand how important it is for both pets and owners to feel comfortable and at ease.
