We really enjoyed our time looking after Spock and Princess. Meri and Burak were very friendly, welcoming and gave us lots of information on everything from how to feed and look after their fur babies to workings of the house, where to buy groceries, public transport and tourist attractions etc.

J’ai passé une semaine idéale chez Meri et Burak, les contacts ont été très amicaux et ils m’ont accueillie avec la plus grande gentillesse et bienveillance :D Spock et Princess sont des amours, très très sages et insatiables niveau câlins :)) L’appartement, le quartier de Kadiköy, “le chemin des chats”, tout était merveilleux ! Si l’occasion se représente, je n’hésiterai pas à retourner chez eux ! Merci encore pour tout Meri, Burak, Spock & Princess !

We spent a wonderful time at Meri and Burak’s home in Moda. We fell in love with their kitties, their home, and the area. Everything is peaceful yet lively out there in Moda which gave us a completely different perspective of Istanbul. Spock and Princess have such amazing personalities and are so easy and fun to take care of. Everything we needed was provided so there was absolutely no anxiety about what to do. Meri and Burak are super friendly and so fun to talk to. They love their kitties deeply so we made sure to keep them updated with everything that was going on with them. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet them and spent time in this part of Istanbul. We had visited Istanbul multiple times in the past but we think we have just found our favorite area of the whole city. We thank you both again for being so welcoming and we hope we can see each other again :) Completely recommended!!

I spent a month in Meri and Burak's home in Moda, and without exaggeration it was one of the best experiences of my entire life. I absolutely fell in love with their cats, their neighbourhood, and their lifestyle. Their home is comfortable and clean, in a beautiful and quiet street that's just a two-minute walk from both the seafront and the main cultural centre of Moda. Every day brought new opportunities for interesting activities, beautiful views, and an amazing variety of delicious food. The cats... I don't even know where to start, I love them as if they were my own and miss them terribly! Such amazing personalities, and so easy and fun to take care of. Everything I needed (food, litter, toys, etc.) was provided and clear to understand, there was absolutely no anxiety about what to do. Meri and Burak are friendly and extremely easy to get along with. They love their cats deeply and appreciate someone of the same mindset. I really can't recommend them highly enough - it may sound overdramatic, but this was truly a dream housesit! I'm so grateful that I had the opportunity to meet such wonderful cats and people, and spend time in the most beautiful part of Istanbul.
