Que dire de ce séjour à part que celui ci était un pur bonheur..... Leah et Alan sont d’une gentillesse et d’une bienveillance rare. Ils m’ont accueilli a bras ouvert et m’ont confié leur animaux avec confiance. J’ai adoré cette vie de petite fermière, m’occuper des poules, récolter les œufs, nourrir les deux biquettes trop mignonnes, la petite minette trop caline qui venait parfois dormir avec moi pour mon plus grand bonheur, et les trois gros toutous qui m’ont entouré d’amour et de calins, j’avoue qu’ils me manquent tous... Je remercie du fond du cœur Leah et Alan de m’avoir permis de vivre cette aventure tellement enrichissante. Je ne peux que les recommander. Merci a tous les deux. 🙏

Back from a dream stay at Leah and Allan. Warm welcome from both of them the day before their departure and a first evening at the local pub. Loved it. A tour of the tasks to be done and of the property. Feed the dog twice a day as well as the cats, the chickens and the goats. Simple and easy. The house is immense, spacious and comfortable. I was able to choose my room. It is an open door policy. You need something, look for it. It is a pleasure to be in that house. No alarm, the dogs are there to protect and scare any person with bad intention. You feel very secure. The dogs are ADORABLE, sweet, nice, friendly. You can not ask for better dogs as long you are ready to handle their size and love. Don't come with elegant and sophisticated clothes....not the place, lol. Cats are loving too, specially Bandit in need of attention and love. Goats and chicken will quickly realized you are their food provider and will also be very interested in you. If you like animals, this is a safe and fun place to be. Know you will need a car for your groceries and needs to get to the nearest village or town. Cambridge is 20 minutes away by car and is of course the town to be visited. During my stay I went to Cambridge four times. Communication with Leah and Allan was brilliant and we stay in touch almost on a daily basis thanks to Whatsapp. I can only recommend a stay at Leah and Allan if you want to touch the feeling of being an English gentleman farmer which I am not but loved the experience. I really hope to be back at their place one day for another stay. Henri

Hello My boyfriend and I had a such a great time in the lovely home of Leah and Allan. We had taken care of their 3 dogs ( sheperds of maremme and abruzze) 2 cats 2 goats and a bunch of chickens. The 3 dogs are very very good, easy going and brave. Besides they are all of them big cuddle bugs. This breed is very special and precious. The 2 cats are very friendly and playful animals and purrs motors :) With the goats and chickens, they form a lovely animals crew. The house is well decorated, special prize for the fun Rabbit room, in which I slept. Leah and Allan are attentive, charming and wellcoming people. They will do anything to make you feel cosy and good at their place. They are also very reactive when they are abroad if you ask them anything about the pets or their home. Leah and Allan are also very keen to give you piece of advices regarding the visit of surrounding. I recommand a lot theis petsitting and housesitting.

We had such a nice time at Leah and Alan's house who assisted us to get to their place and gave us a warm welcome. The house is very is very beautiful, in a very nice quiet and preserved environment and very comfortable to stay in. The 3 dogs are lovely, they have their habits and freedom outside the house. The 2 cats were part of life for eating and also very independent. All this little farm area with chickens and goats is also lovely. We kept in touch regularly every day.Thank you Leah and Alan for trusting us and we are very glad we met you and had the time to have some nice quality discussions.
