We have 2 Borzoi dogs. They are lovely temperament and child friendly. We would ask the house sitter to feed our dogs and generally look after them. In addition we have two horses but we may send them to livery while we are away. We also have few sheep in our fields but they look after themselves. We would ask the house sitter to cut our grass using our ride on mower once a week and water the vegetables and flowers if it is dry and hot.

We live in an area of outstanding natural beauty in smallholding of 13 acres. Our house is old farmhouse in lovely gardens with sweeping views of countryside. On site we have stables, horse arena, barns and small detached cottage. The house has been fully restored to highest standard.

We live in a beautiful area about 1km from the village which has a small shop. There is a bus that passes our gate 6 x times a day that can take you to Shrewsbury or Ludlow the nearby market towns, but it is better if you have your own car. It is a very peaceful and rural area with long walks and beautiful views. The house itself is renovated to high standard with fenced garden of about 2 acres with flowers and trees.

Tourism and Leisure

We live at the foot of the Long Mynd which has wonderful walking trails. Church Stretton which is 3 miles away has natural reservoir in the hills where people can swim on hot days. Ludlow another nearby historic market town has medieval castle and restaurants.
