As a family
We are a reliable and non-smoking couple (Caroline and Felix) with a daughter (Kaia, 6 years old) living in the beautiful southern german town of Freiburg. We are located very close to the french as well as swiss border.
I work as a psychologist, assessing children with speech delays. I also coach mums regarding self-care and matrescence. Felix is a biologist and is working for a non profit organization responsible for a sustainability label for german wine. Kaia is a funny, cheerful animal lover. She still talks about our last eight housesits and is fascinated by all the animals we met. Towards new situations she is a little reserved and observing in the beginning. Kaia is a calm child who is careful with things around her. She listens very well and is very understanding so we can assure you that your belonging will stay safe.
We would describe ourselves as reliable and responsible, trustworthy and enthusiastic. We enjoy buying regional and organic food and also love producing our own food ranging from bread, home made nut cremes to wine from our own little vineyard. We enjoy discovering other cultures and getting to know new people as well as being outside and discovering nature. We are lucky to have a forest close by.

Caroline, Felix et leur fils Haia sont venus garder la maison, son potager, ma chienne, mon chat mes poules et ma tortue. Pour faire simple : c'est une famille formidable, exceptionnelle a qui j'ai confié la maison en toute confiance. Ma chienne a eu le droit a de superbes balades, j'ai pu bénéficier de belles photos quotidiennes de ses promenades. J'ai retrouvé la maison dans un état impeccable, les draps et serviettes lavés, le poulailler nettoyé, le potager arrosé et un bon gâteau dans le four nous attendait. C'est extraordinaire. Vous pouvez accueillir Caroline et sa famille les yeux fermés. Un immense merci pour votre séjour chez moi

Caroline and her nice family were absolutely fantastic. We left 15 days and got news at the frequency we wished. They took great care of the house and of my cat. I recommand them to any home and pet owner.

I am delighted to have met Caroline, Kaia and Felix Super communicative from day 1 to last day - ask all necessary questions to handle 3 cats in a house full of toys (;-)) and a garden blooming- unfortunately not the best weather however you managed to wander around and some time simply rest at home where the cats love cuddling time - all 3 cats adopted you very quickly proving your special attention to them - hope you will come back !
