Nous somme un couple de 65 et 69 ans. Secrétaire médicale et inspecteur du permis de conduire, à la retraite, nous souhaiterions découvrir d'autres contrées tout en y étant ancrés. Nous avons toujours aimer vivre avec des animaux (chien, chats, poules) et nous sommes à leur écoute ainsi qu'aux recommandations de leur propriétaire.

This was a gorgeous housesit in a quiet rural area outside of Cahors, up the top of the hills with magnificent views. We stayed in a gite separate from the main house, making overlaps at the start and end very easy. The good quality gite has two bedrooms on an upper floor but the toilet is downstairs. The five chickens live in a very lovely, clean chicken house (very easy to manage) and they have free range of the garden all day, producing truly excellent eggs. Of the two cats, one is always out roaming and no problem at all. The other cat needs a twice daily injection which she truly willingly accepted like she was being given a kiss! They provision of food immediately afterwards no doubt increased her motivation. We were stunned how easy it was. We had a great three weeks with a good market and cafe down the road in Catus, and an epicerie (village shop) in Boissieres. We very very strongly recommend visiting the grotto, Pech Merle, and then the Cafe Le Caillau in Vire-sur-Lot, and buying wine from Chateau Nozieres or the rather expensive but truly magnificent Chateau Lagarzette. Just relax and enjoy this great house sit. A five star house sit.

Nous avons été très contents d'avoir reçu et confié notre chez nous à Laurence et Denis . Ils se sont très bien occupés de ma Biscotte (ma chienne !!) de nos 4 chats, des poules et du jardin..j'avais laissé des bébés tomates et j'ai retrouvé de beaux plants. Ils ont vraiment pris soin de tout. Confiance totale, bonne communication..super ! Merci beaucoup
