What a joy it has been to get to know Yvonne, Gabriel and little Adele. They are a wonderful, gracious and generous family and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. We had lots in common and interesting conversations. Their home was comfortable with a cozy and easy to use wood stove(they made sure to have the house stocked with firewood for me before they left for their trip). The city of Bordeaux is nearby and a fantastic city to explore. There are also beautiful nature spots nearby. The animals were very sweet but keep in mind that they are elderly and can be restless at night. This was difficult for me since I am a light sleeper but if you sleep deeply it might not disturb you. Aside from that, I highly recommend coming to Yvonne and Gabriel’s!

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable de 3 semaines chez Gabriel et Yvonne dans leur maison à 30 minutes de Bordeaux. Nous nous sommes très attachés au chien, qui demande beaucoup d'attention et qui sait nous la rendre. La maison est idéalement située pour le promener avec des balades juste à côté, un vrai plaisir ! Cette dernière est très confortable et spacieuse, nous avons adoré le poil à bois pour se réchauffer et le grand espace de séjour avec la cuisine ouverte. Le jardin s'est vite transformé en espace de jeu et de détente que l'on a partagé avec Conan et les chats. Enfin nous nous sommes très bien entendu avec Gabriel et Yvonne avec qui nous avons partagé beaucoup de valeurs comme l’écologie et avons pris grand plaisir à faire connaissance. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de ce séjour !
